What I learned from the Writing center

Well I learned 3 things from the Writing the center, that will help me in my future writing. When I first went to the writing center I was very nervous, just because I only have two read my writing which is my teachers and myself. So, when I sat down the man that I forget his name asked to read the whole thing out loud, I instantly became filled with fear, anxiety, and extremely nervous. If  I hadn't mentioned before I am extremely stage-fright and I cannot say anything in front of people without stuttering or tears coming to my eyes with embarrassment. So, when he asked me to read the whole thing, I began, the world seemed to slow down and make my paper seem longer than ever, I rushed to read all 4 pages of it. After 7 minutes or so I finally read my entire paper.

Filled with relief, I turned to him in for his retort, already assuming I did a terrible job. He then said that I some mechanic issues, but my analysis was very good. He said for me to revise by reading out loud, and that this is the most profitable way of fixing my paper. He also said that my quotes are a bit wrong and I need to fix some of the  format of the quotes. When I got home and started revising my paper, I read aloud, and found many mechanic issues, and I am really glad I learned this new trick. I fixed the format of my paragraphs, and improved on the fluency of my sentences.
