4 Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Head-Aches
Oh my god! I just cannot focus when I get headache, and I am completely miserable, sometimes it is because I get really busy and I am not eating enough, and other times it my little brother nagging me throughout the day. When I get these horrid things, all I want to do is lay in the dark get some Tylenol and go to sleep in the complete and utter silence. Though this is effective for me, it takes a while for it to go away, and is not always convenient. Here are some natural ways to get rid of headaches.
- Water- Dehydration is one of the main causes of head-aches. We all know that we are supposed to be drinking 2.5 liters of water a day, but most times it easier said than done. If you feel a head-ache coming on, think about how much you drank that day, and if you think it is not enough, go get a glass of water. You will also benefit from other things in drinking water, as in getting all the toxins out of your body, and getting radiant skin.
- Tea!- Tea is one of those natural great liquids for your body that helps heal it and give it health. Drinking some teas can help with headaches, like ginger and peppermint. Ginger is great for migraines, drinking ginger tea starts to prevents a process called prostaglandin. Prostaglandin, send pain singles to the brain, so when you drink ginger tea is numbs and stops those pains. Peppermint tea is thought to reduce spasms within the stomach, which help relieves pain signals to the brain as well. Since peppermint tea soothes nausea it might be good for migraines too.
- Relaxation- Doesn't, everybody try to relax when you get a head-ache? As one of the main causes of headaches is stress and anxiety, relaxing often helps and eases headaches. So when you feel a headache coming on try to find ways relax, I also wrote a blog post about 7 ways to relax, so you can look at that for some ideas too.
- Apple Cider Vinegar- This is one of my moms little remedies for headaches. She would get two tablespoons of apple cider and swallow it, and it would often help ease headaches. It taste decent so I can swallow I recommend it to ever has migraines this really helps, I got my second migraine 2 weeks ago from my little brothers birthday party, and I was miserable I took the apple cider vinegar, and layer down for an hour and my headache went away.
The Farthest You Have Been From Home- Blog Topic
I have been 3,967 miles away from home, and I enjoyed every mile. I visited Hawaii the in 2012, and it was amazing. As soon as I landed from the plane even the inhale of oxygen was much easier and purer to breath, than back home. The beaches were amazing, I found a full sand-dollar, and even saw some tortoises swimming while I was snorkeling. One day we visited a beach when it was high tide, the waves were huge a least 7-8 ft a wave, you saw people surfing and playing in the wave. I was instantly compelled to play in the waves, though I was unaware of the dangers that lye in the waves. I endeavored to play in the vast ocean with the 7 foot waves for a good 10 minutes, until I relized how far away I was from shore. Once I came to this reconigition, I instantly started swimming as fast as I could towards the shore, my Dad screamed at me telling me to get back to the shore, so I tried even harder just only getting pulled back before. My mind wasn't thinking about I am going to drown or getting eaten by sharks, but it was trying to swim as hard as I could through the strong waves. My Dad, finally finds a lifeguard near by driving on a four-wheeler, he flags him down by waving his hands and yelling help. My Dad still on the shore, tells the life-guard what is happening and points to me. The lifeguard comes and retrieves me to the shore. He then tells my parents that I was caught in a rip-tide and explains and shows us how we can distinguish rip-tides from non riptides. We then left the ocean and ate dinner.

Reflecting On the Introduction To the Lord of the Flies
I thought the island desertion introduction was really fun! It was a different way to introduce a book in an entertaining way! In retrospect though we all were yelling over one another, and created this big hubbub of Nina suggesting that we eat the first graders, Maddy announcing to everyone that she is going to backstab all of us, Audrey saying that she will ditch us, along with Parker announcing himself god. Lastly, Z went around under the tables scaring people which was extremely funny. I enjoyed the activity and hope we can do another fun introduction to Macbeth as well!
