When I read these artistic short stories, I find them marked with originality. There peculiar plot lines, characters and their traits always shock me with fascination. Lets take the man with wings per say, how bizarre was that story. I later found out that this story had some metaphors in it. As the so called "angle" was the angle of death. The child of the two main characters in this was valetudinarian, but when the child began to recuperate, the angle of death began to grow ill. Once the child became in utter health the angle flew away into the sunset.
Another bizarre story that kept me in awe of its remarkable ingenuity, was Harrison Beregon. This story was a prodigious example of dis-topian society. In this world everybody was equal, and if you were not you were handicapped with horrific things on you, of course the government was exempt from this horrible thing. A man named Harrison Beregon looked like a walking junkyard because he was so astute, handsome, and strong. One day, the anger inside of him exploded so much that he was sent to jail, later he broke out of jail. He went to a ballerina play declared himself as emperor and crowned his empress. During this his parents were watching all of this on the television at there house. The high and mighty leader of the government shot them both as they were making out on the ceiling.
In retrospect, I find both of these story bizarre and astounding in multiple ways. They are original, and you will never find anything like this in everyday books
I have spent two hours reading this week and have spent an hour embellishing my blog, doing our short stories, and adding to my notebook. So approximately 3 hours of work has been done towards english.
