I spent my required minutes reading the Diary of a Young Girl ~ Anne Frank. I have still not finished it yet, because the vocabulary still tends to challenge me, though I still enjoy the book and recommend it highly to anyone who would like to learn about those tragic times. I have enjoyed this book so much I have decided I am going to make this my focus on my social studies project. Anyway I have spent 30 minutes working in class time on top of the 95 minutes I read this week. Which is a total of 125 minutes.

Hey Kaylin, I would actually love to read that book. I have always been fascinated with those hard times in history. I think that it's awesome how you decided to keep reading the book even though the vocabulary was a bit difficult! I might need your help understanding it when I read it!!

Kaylin, I think it is very neat that you are furthering you're reading into social studies. What is your topic?
ReplyDeleteLove reading your posts, Nina.
Oh my gosh! I've been wanting to read that book for so long, but never had the time to start it! My brother read it a while back and has it on his shelf, but I never think to touch it. I just might do that now that you say its good. I might have trouble reading it though
