3 Things You Probably Didn't Know

1.  Dreaming can make you more intelligent-  When you sleep, your brain processes everything you went through that day. So when you are studying for a test, instead of grinding over your textbook for another 3 hours, you should take a nap or go to sleep. When you are dreaming, "your brain is comprehending and integrating problems", says researchers at Harvard Medical School.  I am a light sleeper, and I wake up several times a night to nothing. When I went for my annual check-up, I asked my doctor if she could give me some tips on how to have a better quality of sleep? My doctor replied saying to avoid noise in your room, such as your TV. Using this technique will help your brain to process facts.

2. Dogs can smell cancer- I woke up today turning on Fox news hearing that this women's dog smelled her breast cancer. She said that her dog would poke her in this certain spot everyday, until one day she went to get a mammogram and had cancer in the same, exact spot where her dog was poking. She was stunned and did some research and found out that dogs can smell early cancer. She told Fox reporters, "In a way my dog saved my life."

3. Nothing could exist without gravity- I was watching a documentary about Astronomy, and they started talking about gravity. They said without gravity nothing would be in existence, because without gravity the earth would not be able to hold itself together. The first thing that would happen if gravity did not exist is that we would be flanged into the sky at 750 mph. Then everything would just turn into nothing because without gravity the solar system would not exist, nor planets, galaxy's, or even the universe in that matter.
