Short Stories Orginality
When I read these artistic short stories, I find them marked with originality. There peculiar plot lines, characters and their traits always shock me with fascination. Lets take the man with wings per say, how bizarre was that story. I later found out that this story had some metaphors in it. As the so called "angle" was the angle of death. The child of the two main characters in this was valetudinarian, but when the child began to recuperate, the angle of death began to grow ill. Once the child became in utter health the angle flew away into the sunset.
Another bizarre story that kept me in awe of its remarkable ingenuity, was Harrison Beregon. This story was a prodigious example of dis-topian society. In this world everybody was equal, and if you were not you were handicapped with horrific things on you, of course the government was exempt from this horrible thing. A man named Harrison Beregon looked like a walking junkyard because he was so astute, handsome, and strong. One day, the anger inside of him exploded so much that he was sent to jail, later he broke out of jail. He went to a ballerina play declared himself as emperor and crowned his empress. During this his parents were watching all of this on the television at there house. The high and mighty leader of the government shot them both as they were making out on the ceiling.
In retrospect, I find both of these story bizarre and astounding in multiple ways. They are original, and you will never find anything like this in everyday books
I have spent two hours reading this week and have spent an hour embellishing my blog, doing our short stories, and adding to my notebook. So approximately 3 hours of work has been done towards english.

Reading, Working, & Embellishing
Over this previous week, I have managed to read three short stories and make and summarize them. This took and hour. Then Dr.D recommend me a book, and I enjoyed it very much it is really captivating. I read for 1.5 hours. I look forward to reading the rest of it.
Marie Antoinette
My friend and I were looking at movies on Netflix and we came upon the named Marie Antoinette. She exclaimed how great of a movie it was, and why it was such a significant event in the French Revolution. At the time, I was very unfamiliar with Marie Antoinette. So, in the previous hour I have been researching her, and I became overwhelmed with her life.
Marie Antoinette was a the queen of France during the revolution. She was crowned queen when she was 13 years of age. She threw lavish parties and bought lots of clothing. Her infantile behavior caused France to drown in debt. Putting thousands of people on the street starving to death. Finally, the people of France revolted and demanded for the queens death. The revolters got there favor, and Marie Antoinette was beheaded on October 17 1983.

Promotion
I can not believe she stole my food... again. She is so exasperating. Let me set my alarm for work tomorrow. WORK! I can not wait to go to work tomorrow. The anticipation and eagerness for tomorrow is almost unbelievable. I am finally going to the receive the promotion. Once, I receive a higher status among my peers, life will finally be on track. I can move out of this apartment, not worry about my food stolen, and finally be able to let my boss read my manuscript. Once he reads this he will know that I can sell books that people will love and cherish.
Why cant I go to sleep? I have been tossing and turning for what 3 hours now? It feels like the night before Christmas. The spirit of excitement and avidness going through-out your body. Wanting time to go by faster. Wanting the morning to arrive in a second. This is how it feels. I am waiting for Santa Clause to arrive and provide lavish gifts for me. I long for this and as I lay here, I slowly steadily fall asleep...

Reading, Working, Writing
Since our literacy paper was due this week, I put lots of time and effort into it, so there was not much reading time done. I spent 2 hours writing, revising, and editing on my paper, and I spent a 45 minute car ride to school reading Emma by Jane Austin, with a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes done towards english I feel accomplished.
Emma~Jane Austin
Oh Boy! I went into this book thinking that I might be able to comprehend it, but I was extremely wrong! She uses words like "valetudinarian"(this means ill in health). I knew that this book is a Victorian written book, and they are hard to comprehend, but I had no clue how hard. So, as a result I probably will not continue reading this book until I improve my skills in reading.
Now this is very irrelevant, but this book is based off the 90's movie Clueless. As I read the first 50 pages of this book, which took me 2 hours by the way, I was correlating the characters in the book into the movie. Of course though Emma is much more proper and civilized than Clueless it was still pretty neat that I could do that!
